Al-Fatihah Allahyarham Nur Hakim

Now that my first episode of Bersamamu has aired, now you know the relevance of this picture that I posted earlier.

It was a very, very sad experience for me indeed. Even when I first reached the house, I was slightly teared up already. What I saw before me was a son very ill and a mother calling out his name with hopes he can somehow respond and be at ease knowing that his mother is by his side. I was surprised to see the mother being very calm and composed although her son was in such dire condition. If it were me, I would be crying nonstop. I guess she has already accepted the fact that she will be losing her son soon.

During his final moments, I was speechless as I couldn't believe what I was witnessing. My tears came flowing like waterfall as Hakim's parents mengucap to his ear over and over. And then he was gone... His mother said she saw smile on his face as he took his final breath. His 8-month battle with cancer finally came to an end.

I reached Perak that morning and left for KL that very night, after the funeral. When I said goodbye to the mother, she said,"I like watching WHI. I see you on TV. And now I get to meet you in person because of Hakim." Despite all she has been through, she was being very sweet.
