5 Years And More!

It has been 5 years since 'aku terima nikah Irin Putri Binti Azmi...' was proclaimed by Mer.

People say the first 5 years is the probation period in a marriage where people have to learn to accept their spouse as they are - including their not entirely favourable attributes which may surface after being married. (you know what they say, masa dating semuanya indah)

I wouldn't say our marriage has been as perfect as a fairy tale. Any healthy marriage would have their ups and downs and we learn to get through it.

I'm eternally grateful that Mer is super understanding and supports my work 100%. Even if it means leaving him and Raees behind for days for assignments. He would say,"this is what the husband of a journalist/tv host has to go through." After so many years on the job, he never once complained about my work. Alhamdulillah..

Don't get me started about how good he is with Raees! I have a feeling my boy is gonna grow up being spoiled by his father. Well, maybe in another post. As of now, happy 5th anniversary to the love of my life, Mer :)
