What day is it?

Been caught up with work again. It's Friday already?? We're reaching February?? Gosh, how time flies. It feels like only yesterday I was on my way to school..geez..I'm exaggerating..hehe!

Anyways, I'm in the process of moving to a new house this week. It shall be a busy 2 weeks at home and at work. Plus engagement preparations and all, I just hope I get to arrange my time well and get enough sleep so that I don't burn out plus still look nice on the day :D

Celebrated my mom's birthday 2 days ago. My brothers and me shared for her present and equally contributed for the birthday dinner with the whole family and Mer. TGIF has this ritual where they gather their staff to sing a birthday song and give a free birthday cake. I got my dad to ask for a free cake without the singing, and apparently we can! So yeah, we got a free chocolate cake which was very nice (although I was hoping for Mocha Mud Pie, but that will do).

And so,

Happy Birthday Mama!

Sensitivity issues

Does maturity and sensitivity go hand in hand? Being not sensitive at all is one thing, but being too sensitive is another. Younger people are known to be very sensitive, I've been there.

But as grown-ups, we know when to feel bad about something and think rationally. Sometimes the simplest things can just affect a person (what's worse is the person would share it with other people and somehow trigger the same feeling about the particular issue) and we don't have a clue that something's bothering them. We meet, chat and laugh together, but inside they're having thoughts about us and that really sucks.

My point is, ladies and gentlemen, just be frank and don't talk behind people's back coz it will never get anything done nor will it make you feel better. You may get a clearer picture after talking it over and it might even turn out to be nothing much anyway. You might even laugh about it after that.

Before I end, I've got James Baum's Skirts mp3 (credits to the great Mer :D ). For those looking for it, just message me and I'll pass it over.

P/S: Don't forget, MedikTV at 5pm today :D

Tune in this Raya Haji

Hari Raya Haji is coming up this Friday. I remember this time last year, when my parents were performing the Hajj. My brothers and me were trying to keep the house in one piece and have some food on the table. It was the first time we went visiting relatives on our own and mom called when we were at our granny's, just to wish everyone well. So sweet :D

My first report is coming up on Medik TV this Saturday, 22/1/05, at 5pm. It is regarding spine disorder. It will be interesting for people to see how our spine actually look like in real life (I was amazed by it) and there will be some screws, nuts and rods involved in the operation, which makes the whole thing look like a workshop. So if it's not too much to ask, I would like you all to tune in to it since it's my very first assignment to be aired ;) I would appreciate it very much, thanx!

Oh yea, after watching Sarimah on TV, come to think of it, she was quite overacting and actually got on my nerves at times. She should've mellowed down a lil and then it would be just right. She seemed like such a psycho, but not as bad as some people I come across..hehe!

Bringing out the child in you?

I'm very disappointed with destroyar who uses my blog to display his disrespect and childish behaviour. None of us have ever done any harm towards you and I couldn't find a logical reason for your action, unless you're just not right.

So please think wisely and GROW UP before you even think of writing such things! I don't welcome such people at my blog.

P/S: Weird..I have prove that indicates you're from Japan.

I was at Juara Lagu full dress rehearsal last night. You can change the channel during the middle of the show coz it was quite a bore. The beginning and the end are quite good. Too bad Anuar Zain wasn't around last night coz he had toothache. He was replaced by this guy who is one of the first few Malaysian Idol final contestants to be voted out. Anuar Zain should be around for the real thing tonight though.

Ah well, Ruffedge was good but the backup dancers sucked big time. I hope that was just temporary and they get real dancers for tonight! Come on Ruffedge! You can dooo it..

Sarimah is good I tell you. She kept us laughing and we went "she's good!" quite a few times. Najib Ali was good as well. Ah, they are professionals..they should meet up to people's expectations anyway.

I could've gone for the real thing tonight, but I decided not to. Since I've seen the rehearsal, I pretty much have seen how the thing would go. Might as well watch it on TV instead. Plus, I don't wanna miss The Apprentice and I'm working the next day. Thanx for the offer, Idaura!

For once I have the whole weekend for myself. In the past month, I've been working at least on one weekend. I've missed lazing around at home. It's fun to do that again, getting my life back, a know what I mean? :D I get to make time for my family and my Mer :x

After waiting for almost half a year, Layar Tanchap is finally back in town!

I missed the last one that was held in July, coz I was in Malacca for my convocation. Looks like I'm missing this next one too coz I'll be ushering for the twins' sister's wedding on that particular day. It's just not my luck :(

Oh well, here are the details anyway..

My nose is running a thousand miles an hour, my eyes are watery (not crying pls), my voice is very Britney-like and I keep on sneezing. Don't come near me if you wanna stay healthy.

This evening, both unhealthy Mer and me went to The Curve to check things out. I would say less than 50% of the shops are open. But the place is very cosy..had a nice tea break at an Italian fast food. I had one really nice piece of Tiramisu. That reminds me..Heydeq, I miss your Tiramisu! Please come back soon and make one for me keh ;)

Ah, enough crapping for now. Gotta get some much needed relaxation, with VE playing on the background. Layta peeps!

Happy New Year?

It definitely doesn't feel right to wish people happy new year when one of the worse natural disasters just happened like 6 days ago leaving hundreds of thousands of people dead.

Thought we were lucky enough to be far from harm's way, but that isn't the case this time around. Though Malaysia was hit with just a fraction of the impact, imagine those who got direct hit?

Here's something to think about: Snow at a UAE? Click on the picture below to read the article..
